Occupational Therapists - Kentucky Easter Seals

Several full and part-time Occupational Therapist positions available at our Lexington, Kentucky location! Sign-on bonus may apply. Benefits available on first day for positions over 20hrs/wk.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Effective- Provides, directs and supervises the OT intervention in a manner that is consistent with the examination data, the evaluation, and the plan of care.
2. Progressive - uses current OT theory and practice, and practice framework
3. Competent - Take responsibility for maintaining and documenting competence by participating in professional development and educational activities.
4. Client / Customer Oriented - Includes in the intervention plan client-centered goals that are clear, measurable, behavioral, functional, contextually relevant, and appropriate to the client's needs, desires, and expected outcomes.
5. Communicative - Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills to develop a rapport with client, their families or caregivers, vendors and other team members.
6. Credible
7. Flexible - Uses methods of communication that match the abilities, learning styles, and therapeutic needs of consumers and others.
8. Participative - Actively participates in program and discipline development, continuous quality improvement, team meetings, etc...by identifying and addressing program/discipline areas needing improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist in Kentucky.
